| Comments: |
Liberty Springs Tr well packed, micros fine.
Franconia Ridge Tr had not been broken out yet after the snow two days ago, there was 3-5" loose granular snow on top of a well-packed base. People used both snowshoes and micros on this part today. Some old postholes that were partially obscured by the new snow necessitated care.
Met Das Boot on the way down, he's hiking multi-day sections of the AT (started last March). If you see a big guy with a red beard and a big blue pack around during the next week or two be sure to say hi! |
