Comments
Comments: Up the ski trail .6 and then Old Path. "Mashed Potato" snow on top of hard pack ... made for an easy day. I took a right at the "T" and visited South Doublehead first, then back down to the "T" and onto North Doublehead. This was a respectably steep section but manageable in light traction because the snow and ice had softened and my microspikes had good purchase. I took the Doublehead Ski Trail down with no problems. I'm glad I made the directional choices and took the trails I did.
