| Comments: |
Light coating of snow over ice - only needed light traction - spikes all the way. The snow at lower elevation was soft on the way out due to above freezing temps and caused minor balling on the spikes. Summit ledge was mostly bare rock with very small patches of snow/ice. The continuation of the ledge section to the actual summit had thick ice on the furthest ledge but we were able to hug the left side of the trail so as not to slide off the mountain. :-) |
