Comments
Comments: I started on East Inlet road, crossed the bridge and then immediately took a rough road headed east (short cut precedented by bryan). The road had not been ridden since the last storm, though it had been ridden prior. I was very surprised by the low depth of new snow, which made braking easily. Once the road turned off heading very close to the road, I made a short bushwhack to the east inlet road, hitting it near mile marker 2. I then followed the past mile 7 (marker missing, just post)and to a point just west of the peak. I bushwhacked up in open woods and supportive snow, with about 6" of new powder on top. A little spruce near the recognized highpoint. Snow on roads was soft; I wouldn't have wanted to go without snowshoes for any portion.
