Comments
Comments: Mount Agassiz in on the NH Fire Tower list and Cleveland Mountain is on the NH 300 Highest list.

Nice snowshoe hike in about 6" of fresh snow up the access road to the summit of Mount Agassiz. Once on the summit there's unlimited views towards Pemigewasset Wilderness
and our next destination, Cleveland Mountain.

We headed back down the access road a short distance and started bushwhacking east in nice open woods towards the col. This area was in the 12" of snow range. Soon the woods turned trick and nasty as we dropped straight down to the col and there it opened up nicely. We crossed a road and started climbing, still enjoying nice woods to the summit of Cleveland Mountain. This summit was more or less flat but had some bumps here and there. We hit all of them and found a cairn with a yellow strip on a tree. Amy's trip reports we read stated there's a yellow X on a rock near the cairn but due to the snow depth we didn't see it. Nice summit!

After eating lunch, we retraced our steps back to the car.
