Comments
Comments: The trail had a set of track from the day before but only lasted about 1.5 miles then they turned around and snow was about 12". We broke trail from there to the top of the ravine where the trail takes a sharp left where snow was 12"-20" deep. I couldn't even pick my shows up high enough to get on top of the snow on the steeps. The Another hiker came up and helped break trail with her dog all the way to the top of North peak. We lost the trail several times near the just. of the Scar trail but managed. And we had had enough. She was a very strong hiker and i couldn't have even gotten that far without her help. To her I thank you. Toughest day I've had in a while in the whites.
