Red-lining overnight trip. Had a decent night at the Wachipauka Pond campsite, complete with visitors of the snowmobile kind. We were awoken around 11pm to a group screaming "Meadahhh Pond!". Trail was unbroken the whole way up but easy to follow due to the AT blazing. We left a well packed snowshoe trail from rt 25 to the pond and back. Another hiker broke out from 25C. Decided to forgo Webster Slide due to cloudy conditions and time constraints. |
