| Comments: |
Trails and bushwacks are all freshly broken. From shortly after the black pond wack the trail needed to be broken through 4-12 inches of snow. 4 others in snowshoes came up after me. A wise human would only consider using snowshoes there right now. Snow is deep and not consolidated. The Brutus wack is on off the route as it was hard to follow. I used an old GPS track I made years ago but still had to break a new path up as no trench was visible from previous traffic. |
