Comments
Comments: What a hike. The ridge up Wildcat E is very steep and very slippery and very dangerous. Definitely recommend having an ice axe with you though I did not. Ridge itself is in good shape, good amount of postholes from some idiot though, must have done them within the last couple weeks. Light snow in the morning left a half inch of powder on top of snowpack. Entire ridge has between 2 and 5 feet of solid pack to walk on, warming temperatures have melted a bit off but made for a very comfortable hike. 19 mile ridge trail had "happy Easter" written in the snow and I say it right back to you Brooke M (also written in the snow). Great day, very long, and today my legs are pretty exhausted.
