Comments
Comments: Got an early start and made first tracks for the day, there was ~1 inch of powder on the trail heading out. Awesome traction, microspikes were plenty, even up the steep butt-sledded sections on Avalon to Willey Range. Much more wintry today than the past couple of weeks. On the way back the temps and sun & increased foot traffic helped pack the new snow right down. Awesome going up & down, no slippage.
