Beautiful day and our group of 4 had the place to ourselves for most of the day. Saw just one other hiker and his dog on our way out. Some patches of bare ground in lower elevation (!). We used micro spikes for whole hike, which worked well. Only place I felt snowshoes would have been helpful was the last 1/4 mile push to summit.... Heavier snow up there.
All in all, an awesome warm day and great views! |
