Late day 'whack- started @ camping area w/ dry conditions to Carter Ledge Trail using light traction. Hit Middle Sister Trail keeping traction & carrying snowshoes. Reached point on trail where we decided was closest approach to begin bushwhack. We followed ridgeline from HOL to summit. Remained in spikes car to car- could have used shoes for a couple small sections- not worth putting shoes on. We returned to car just before dusk. Nice little whack- didn't see a soul on the trails. |
