Spring-like day but someone forgot to tell the mountain. Trail started off crusted with snow in the morning and softening up by noon. Lowerdown the snow melted and was turning muddy by afternoon. Couple of inches of snow on top with a layer of ice underneath. Saw quite a few turkey tracks, some skunk tracks and a few moose prints. There was also one print that looked like a bear paw. Pretty clear skies up top. |
