| Comments: |
Trail has multiple personalities especially as the day warms up. Well blazed and easy to follow. Only two other hikers, one bare boot, one snowshoe, seem to have been on this section since the last storm. Mostly 4-6" packed spring snow so used microspikes. Three nice long patches with no snow, one being the steep section just below the summit which made for an easy last push. At summit sign, we looked to the right and saw a slightly higher knob so we bushwhacked to the recognized summit cairn before heading back down. Nice spring hike. |
