Was hard packed this am, so microspikes worked quite well. And then they didn't...once we got about a mile past Mt. Surprise, it was soft and mushy. Switched to snowshoes shortly before intersection and wore them the rest of the way. Beautiful day up there and saw quite a few people. Loved seeing some familiar, friendly faces- Rachel, Elizabeth, and Buffalo Girl! |
