Comments
Comments: Beautiful day today, with fantastic views to Franconia Ridge. Used spikes for entirety of hike. When it gets a little warmer snowshoes will be needed. One large group was trying to bare-boot (in low-cut sneakers) and they were having trouble.

As the broken-out trail approached Cannon summit, it deviated from actual trail and headed right (North) toward the cafeteria/bar building near the summit (which is closed). From there there are a couple of broken-out routes to the summit structure.

Saw a lot of skiers who had skinned up and were enjoying the ample snow.
