Comments
Comments: after my early 3 mile run I drove up to nearby farr hill. the woods was fairly good except for some blow downs and deep snow patches. lt. rain made for some slickness too. the final pitch is somewhat steep and as I crested to the flatish summit two deer ran off. I repaired the small summit cairn and about 20 ft. away under a spruce tree lay a jar with orange string around it. I couldn't tie it up because the other part of the string is gone. I just left the jar at the base of the tree. I returned to farr hill rd. roughly the same way which also included some logged areas and old roads/snomo trail. only 40 minutes round trip but felt good to be in the woods again. bigger things lay ahead.
