Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Clear. Only 1 other car at 8:30 am. About 6 cars at 4 pm. 
Surface Conditions
Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Snow/Ice - Monorail (Stable), Snow/Ice - Monorail (Unstable), Snow - Spring Snow, Snow/Ice - Postholes 
Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment: Snowshoes, Light Traction 
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: The 3 major crossings below Bald Peak were rock hop-able but took some care 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trails in good shape for time of year. Some mud lower but avoidable. Some blowdowns on ridge between North and South Peak but easy to navigate over, under or around. 
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: About 6 other dogs in addition to Chase. Some difficulty with post-holing up on ridge trail

Bugs: Thankfully, none yet.

Comments
Comments: Started at 8:30 am. Summited South Kinsman at 12:30. Visited Bald Peak on way down and back at trailhead at 4:00. Barebooted to just below the Bald Peak spur, then microspikes to North Kinsman. Snow shoes for rest of the hike until just before the Bald Peak spur. There are some deep post holes up on the ridge.
