Comments
Comments: I found it very difficult to navigate the trails. The snow cover made it difficult to see the path, especially since it doesn't have heavy traffic from hikers. Lots of game trails made it seems like hiking trails but were not. Orange Blazes weren't always visible, so got turned around a few times. Really felt like they could have done better with signage. No need to get lost when better signage could help hikers out. Trail map at the trail head did not have Cresent Mountain trail on it, so not helpful for the hike - so prepare before you go with a map. Summit had some substantial ice, which was a bit dicey, but passable. Be prepared with spikes. Still 3-4 feet of unstable snow drifted so lots of fun post-holing.
