Comments
Comments: Beautiful day, sunny, and clear sky! My group barebooted and wore microspikes up to Pierce. Snowshoes helpful crossing over to Eisenhower- snow is very soft and many large postholes. A lot of rock on the ascent to Eisenhower- not icy here. Edmands path down from Eisenhower a bit tricky. Edmands trail shows less activity and many large postholes. Snow was so soft by the end of the day that we were sinking quite a bit even with the snowshoes. There is a bridge down near the end of Edmands which forced us to wade through thigh high water. The road is inaccessible to Edmands parking lot due to a large tree down.
