| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Elwell Trail could use a small amount of maintenance brushing in some sections, where saplings are encroaching on the corridor. Erosion at the base of the steep section on Goose Pond Snowmobile Trail (Orange Trail), about 0.2 miles from trailhead, continues to erode from some of the recent rain events. |

| Comments: |
Very quiet on the trails this afternoon.
Trails are completely clear of any snow/ice.
A few wet/muddy spots from melt and the rain event earlier in the day.
Now that the snow is completely melted out on the Goose Pond Snowmobile Trail, a surprising amount of recent bark/phloem/cambium damage is visible on/near the base of a number of large, old trees that line the trail on the sides that face the trail. Those trees are pretty banged up. |
