Comments
Comments: Early start - 7:30am. Windy at the bottom, even windier at the top.
Section of the bottom of Crawford Path is definitely doable without traction - depending on stubbornness, you could go all the way without traction but on the descent, I was happy to have it on in some places. The monorail is deteriorating - you think you're on it and then you've post holed up to your knee. Especially towards the top of Crawford Path, snow shoes wouldn't really help since the trail narrows and drops off into a snow drift. It was getting mashed potato-y on my descent (arrived at the lot before noon). Beautiful day to hike, especially if you started later when the wind died down.

Gate for Mt Clinton Rd is open but I didn't drive it.
