Comments
Comments: The beginning of Eagle Cliff trail was a short yet steep ascent to Eagle Cliff, which offered a excellent close up view of Squam Lake. The trail continues on to the fire tower on top of Red Hill. This portion of trail is approximately 2 miles of some reasonable ascents/descents and switchbacks. Enjoyable trail, but nothing really of note until reaching the fire tower. An excellent 360 degree view of the surrounding ranges. The tower has informational signage naming the viewable peaks.
