Comments
Comments: The only thing to add to the previous report from Wednesday is that I bare booted up and down with no issues. Stay in the grass next to the snow or maintenance road and you will be fine. Only needed to walk in the snow a few times, and it was solid enough with good grip. No postholing.
The dirt maintenance road itself, where exposed, is mostly deep mud, even though it looks dry, so avoid that.
Bring skis. I wish I would have carried mine up. You can still ski 75% of the way down or more, although glissading got us down quickly.
The only people I saw were maintenance workers installing the Gondolas for the summer.
