Glen Ellis Falls parking lot was still gated, so I opted to park at Pinkham Notch visitors center, where there were other vehicles. |

I had planned on doing Wildcat D & over to A, but the postholing on WRT got so frustrating that I decided to descend via the ski trails, after reaching Wildcat D, since it took a lot longer to hike up. A couple times I postholed up to the top of my thigh.
Going down the ski trails wasn't bad. There is plenty of bare ground so you don't have to walk through what is left of the snow. |
