||Pack Monadnock, North Pack Monadnock, NH|
|Date of Hike:
||Monday, May 14, 2018|
|Parking/Access Road Notes:
||Auto road to the summit of Pack Monadnock is open. Hikers going up or crossing the auto road should be vigilant of approaching cars. |
||Dry Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |
|Water Crossing Notes:
||None of any significance. |
|Trail Maintenance Notes:
||Fine shape on the southernmost slope, but crossing over from Pack to North Pack, there are several blow-downs that are fairly easy to walk around. Mud puddles are very minor, and stepping stones and roots are plentiful. |
|Lost and Found:
||Trails are basically in summertime shape. The fire tower was open, and the watchman was welcoming to those who wanted to have a look. |
More detail, and pictures, on my blog.
