Comments
Comments: Terrific day - did Mt Carr first - amazing amounts of moose poop about a half mile from summit. My favorite approach to Carr!!! I actually found some telephone wire from the old firetower along the Mt Carr Trail - very exciting for me!!!! YAY!!! From there I descended the way I came and then went directly to the Mt Kineo Trail -> Donkey Hill Cutoff -> Three Ponds Trail (including shelter spur). I have to hike on trails that tilt to the right because of a bum ankle and the loop in this direction was great. Only saw 2 people all day. Enjoyed the cascades on the Mt Kineo Trail. Got to car JUST as rain started - yay!!! 12.2 miles in over 6 hours - I enjoyed the sights!!!!! :)
