| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Haystack Road was STILL not open. We spotted a car at the Gale River Trail head, then started from the end of Little River Road. No biggie, just a little extra mileage. |
|
| Surface Conditions: |
Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Snow/Ice - Small Patches |

|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
Waded Little River after doing the "bushwhack". Being short, a couple of the rock hops were just out of my reach. No problem as we came prepared for that possibility. Waded it without poles, not scary. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
A few blow downs here and there. |

| Bugs: |
Nothing to be concerned about today. |

| Comments: |
A few avoidable and traverseable ice & snow patches here and there. Microspikes stayed in the pack and will stay home from now on :) Any mud was fairly minor. There were some other folks out including a couple groups. |
