Hiking Trail Conditions Report
Peaks
Peaks North Tripyramid, Middle Tripyramid, South Tripyramid, NH
Trails
Trails: Livermore Trail, Mt. Tripyramid Trail
Date of Hike
Date of Hike: Monday, May 28, 2018
Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Huge lot off Tripoli Rd, I was the second car there at 7am. maybe a dozen when I left at noon. Guessing a majority of the cars were the fat-bikers that I saw, a few people out in the water too.
Surface Conditions
Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Mud - Minor/Avoidable
Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: All crossings headed out from South Tripyramid were rock-hopable, not high water at all. 1 crossing heading out (before Livermore) has at least 1 tree down but there are clear boot marks as to where others have gone, be imaginative and it is easily crossable.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Primarily the aforementioned - tree down over the water crossing.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: 2 puppers this morning, neither dog on a leash, both under control and both on the Livermore road
Bugs
Bugs: If a hiker opens their mouth they might get a mouthful. Bugs are bad straight out of the lot to about 3500', don't stop and they don't catch up! ;)
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Nothing to mention, and no trash to pick up! *YAY!*

Comments
Comments: Awesome day up there in the hills. My first trip to the Tripyramids, glad I listened to the recommendations of going UP the north slide and DOWN the south slide. I would definitely avoid these rocks/slides in rain or mist though! There are certainly trees to grab onto..but no need to widen the trails any more than they are! Enjoy!!
