Water Crossing Notes: Nothing but streams that were easily crossable
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Elwell tr needs a little love, but not sure anyone travels it much. Tons if moose poop. Go right at what seems to be the last marker up a hill and that will take you top the logging rd. All other trails in pretty good condition, just not much use. Holt was dry enough to traverse safely.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: I wouldn't take up the upper Holt, but all else good.
Bugs
Bugs: So, so many.

Comments
Comments: Crazy back woods stuff going over to Mowgli mt, but very cool trail. We came to what seemed like the intersection of Elwell and a road and tried going left (which may have been part of a logging road eons ago, but isn't still), got covered in ticks, turned back and realized the tail continued to the right and THEN split into Old Dicey rd and more of the Elwell tr. Most of the signs are hard to read out this far. Otherwise a great day!
