Water Crossing Notes: Significant water crossings on Lincoln Brook Trail, one of which necessitated taking off boots and wading.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Many blowdowns but always a way around.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: I wouldn't recommend Owl's Head Path for dogs, and I would be concerned about their safety crossing Lincoln Brook.
Bugs
Bugs: Bug spray is a must.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: I found one pair of orange and black sunglasses and one black mesh bag; placed both by the map sign at the start of the Lincoln Woods Trail.

Comments
Comments: Owl's Head has a reputation as a pain in the butt, but it's actually a reasonably good three-hour hike. You just have to walk for four hours each way to get to it in abject boredom.
