Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: We were the first car in the lot at 8:00 am at the end of Thompson Road. Two others when we returned at 3:00 pm. Older guidebooks said to park at Rt 113 but now there is a parking lot at the end of the road.

Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Met a team putting up new plastic blazes between Doublehead and Squam. We did loose the trail on Crawford Ridgepole below the ledges approaching Sandwich Notch.

Bugs: No mosquitoes in parking lot, moderate on most of trail, heavy near Sandwich Notch

Comments: Completed redlining Crawford-Ridgepole trail. Many puds between Doublehead and Squam. Great view from Doublehead.
