Be careful where you park so the residents stay happy. Area near powerlines was full around 8:30am. |

6-8 blowdowns which you can step over or crouch under. Two blowdowns block the trail completely but a small path has been worn to go around them. |

So many cute dogs! Some looked hungry, make sure you bring enough food for your dog. They need snacks just like you on a hike this long :) |

Lots of bugs but with deet and permethrin treated clothes they didn't bite. |

| Comments: |
Trail was mostly dry with some water running over granite in select spots on the summit cone. There were more viewpoiints than I thought there'd be - clear day so we could see very far! If you like identifying peaks make sure to bring your Maine maps so you can identify the peaks far off. The edge of our map was not too far from Moriah but I could sit up there all day identifying peaks. |
