Comments
Comments: We set of on Basin Trail that brought us up to some very steep cliffs and rewarding views prior to hitting Rim Junction. We then jumped on Black Angle Trail and at the height of land started bushwhacking north in nice woods to the somewhat flat summit and recognized high point Blue Brook Shelter Peak. On our return trip we noticed lots of moose scrapes so we bushwhacked off trail picking up the Basin Rim Trail just south of the Rim Junction. We had no luck finding any antlers but the views from this area are one of the best I’ve seen!
