Surface Conditions
Surface Conditions: Dry Trail
Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: All 10 crossings were fine, water levels allowed rock hopping.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: A maple top in the trail before the first crossing on Downes, a few other odds and ends of blow downs. Some of the water bars are in need of cleaning. Brushing back the hobblebush and other stuff along Downes is really needed before it gets completely out of control. Kate Sleeper in good shape, only bad part was a maze of blowdowns on the spur to East Sleeper.
Dog-Related Notes

Bugs
Bugs: Not much, a few here and there.

Comments
Comments: Only saw 2 people on Downes and they meant to be on the trail to Hedgehog. Good place to go for solitude! Probably 6-8 folks on Kate Sleeper.
