Parking/Access Road Notes: Parking for a few vehicles at the turnaround area on Belknap Mountain Road (continue on foot for the next 100 yards to the trailhead).

Water Crossing Notes: Very minor crossing, easily done.

Trail Maintenance Notes: Might be nice to figure out a way to drain the water on the trail/road along the flats.

Dog-Related Notes: Somewhere along the middle portion of the trail, a dog that had followed us up (not part of our group) found a porcupine.
