Comments
Comments: Dad & I went up the North Slide and down the South. the whole trail was dry. the views from both slides are incredible! the slides are both very very steep and slow going to keep from sliding. South is the more treacherous as it is mainly loose dirt and gravel.
We happened on a young bull moose on the Livermore road, he was out for some breakfast and pretty tame. we were able to get within about 30 feet before an oncoming biker spooked him into the woods. After we got down the S Slide we startled a couple of grouse (at different times) who complained at our presence along the trail. we figured that they were nesting.
11 and change miles 7.5 very easy and about 2 that were extremely tough!

2 off his list of the NH48 and 2 more for my T25
