Comments
Comments: This new trail opened last year if I'm not mistaken. It's generally quite gradual with a copious amount of switchbacks. A couple of short sections will probably need relos or rock work. Portions of the trail appear to follow the former Prospect Trail. Foot generally good down low, but some side hill. Trail is apparently about 1.5 miles long, ending on the ridge about 0.9 miles north of Old Mountain Road, meaning that even though it's closer to Webster/Morgan, it's actually longer than the Old Mountain Road approach.
Bushwhacked from Crawford Ridgepole to the wooded 2,076 spot elevation on Webster, which is unrecognized but has a cairn.
Trails were mostly dry.
