When we got there at 8 am, the lot was overflowing onto the road with lots of cars 🚗. When we got back,there were so many car parked on the road, for some it was a pretty good hike just to get to the parking lot !!! |

4 of them. All relatively easy rock hops. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
A few blowdowns along the route.A couple of crawl unders that were tough on my back on the out because it was so stiff from the long hike! |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
Saw a lot of friendly dogs. Some looked pretty tired though. Be careful for them. They need plenty of water. Bring enough. |

| Bugs: |
Not too bad. It I needed to use DEET. |

| Lost and Found: |
There was an EMS ball cap hanging on a tree branch at the beginning of the Wilderness Trail. |

Looong hike, but the views from the top made it worthwhile. Most people I spoke with said they were staying at the campground. |
