Comments
Comments: A good portion of the trail is wet with some running water and minor mud here and there - nothing real significant though. Trail is very rooty in the middle section also.

Quick afternoon hike using the 'other' trail from the south. With the trail being in the shade all the way to the top and the good amount of water around for dipping the ol' bandana made it comfy considering the heat and humidity. The fact this was a short hike helped too :)

Just a family of 10 or so and two others at the top when I got there and all but one left while I was roaming around the summit area. Views toward the south are excellent but the view of Franconia Ridge seems to be much more obstructed than my last visit here 3-4 years ago - but I guess Father Time does that so get em' while you still can.
