Comments
Comments: The ledges on Carter-Moriah can be challenging if wet or icy. Today there was enough dry surfaces on the ledges to afford secure footing today. Views limited by clouds and haze. Bog laurel in bloom on the ledges and bunchberries at higher elevations. No damage from the Saturday night storm. I met campers who witnessed the storm on Saturday night. Two AT thru hikers took the short walk off the AT up to Mt Moriah (one NoBo and one SoBo).
