Bugs: deer flies buzzing..skeets biting..a tick or 2 a busy bug day before mid day heat

driest I have ever seen this trial. all foot beds in good shape . great views on the ledge. with the dry weather there is much less trail creep than you sometimes see here with heavy use. the summit peaceful and calm, not much view there but a good spot..went over to met calf road where cooper had a nice swim. nice day out
