Comments
Comments: Howker Ridge is gorgeous trail but never gets easier. Great way to do Madison though

There is a very aggressive spruce grouse nesting in the scrub shortly after the last major howk. She flew fast at and hit my head, glared at me then from the ground, then flew at me again as I was exiting her area; this time, I knew she was there and had picked up the pace, so she missed.
