||Crawford Path, Eisenhower Loop, Webster Cliff Trail|
|Date of Hike:
||Monday, July 9, 2018|
|Parking/Access Road Notes:
||Mt. Clinton Road is still barricaded after the Crawford Connector lot (i.e. you can't drive to the Edmands Path lot). |
||Dry Trail, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |
|Water Crossing Notes:
||None of significance |
|Trail Maintenance Notes:
||Noted lots of quarried rock for future steps/waterbars/scree on the ascent of Pierce, as well as bog bridging supplies staged between the peaks. One duck under blowdown prior to the corduroy prior to treeline on the ascent of Pierce. |
|Lost and Found:
||Lower Crawford Path and above treeline were mostly dry. Some areas of mud and running water elsewhere from the continuing erosion. Hopefully this reconstruction project will make a big dent in stabilizing the trail.|
Hot down low this afternoon/evening, but nice temperatures/breeze above treeline.
