water crossings on the rocky branch trail were OK, with a little thought to find the best route across. My corgi was able to do it on his own, so it is not impossible |

Lots of blowdowns and significant mud on the rocky branch trail and the isolation trail to the summit. Not a lot of places to dig drainage ditches however. Maybe some more walkways over these areas? |

| Comments: |
Awesome, breezy, chilly day for a trip to isolation. The hike to the summit via Glen Boulder was very enjoyable, although tough at times. The hike off the mountain was challenging due to rocks, blowdowns, and huge mud puddles. |
