	Date of Hike:	Sunday, July 15, 2018

	Parking/Access Road Notes:	Parking in lot on Passaconway road - room for 20 cars - about a dozen when we arrived.

	Surface Conditions:	Dry Trail

	Recommended Equipment:

	Water Crossing Notes:	Only one with any water today has a nice bridge, the flow that is often there on the view ledges was completely dry today.

	Trail Maintenance Notes:	In great shape. Note - look for sign to the bypass of the logging road - notes that logging operations are active and to keep an eye out for equipment at the spot it crosses one of the logging roads. No logging activity on this day.

	Dog-Related Notes:	An easy hike for the canines - smaller dogs might need some help getting up the steep pitch below the view ledge. Bring plenty of water as only water is down quite low.

	Bugs:	Fine on the way up but came out on the summit and one the way down - suffered a couple of bites even with bug spray.

	Lost and Found:


	Comments:	Hot and humid heading up today but it was actually really pleasant at the summit in the afternoon. Skies were largely cloudy and there were some rumbles of thunder in the distant but our hike was rain free. Still great views from the top. For those heading in in the next week or so - the blueberries are ripening nicely! Plenty to snack on above the view ledge.
