| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Tuckerman Ravine trail is undergoing maintenance with heavy equipment. There's a detour in effect that's marked with large, orange "DETOUR" signs, plus dozens on dozens of the small (6-8 inch) diameter plastic discs you see ski patrollers deploy. Watch the signs and you're OK. |

It was an epic day out. I got to the trail very late, but decided to go for it. I got to the summit fairly quickly, not unlike last time. The trail was rocky for the upper half. Other than that, things went quite nicely. Tuck's up high is "wet" in places where the waterfall impacts it, but I made good passage through.
In short, I had the kind of day out that would have bugged no end me had I not gone out.
