We followed the Centennial Trail/AT to its intersection with the Mahoosuc Trail. We knew there was not much of a view at the true summit, but we were never really sure where the summit was either. We found a blog on our phone that said there was a nice view on the Mahoosuc Trail below the Hayes summit, but missed it our first time around. When we re-read the summary, it noted the ledge view was .5 from the Centennial/Mahoosuc junction, so that made it much easier to find. We were literally 100 yards from it our first time around! |
