| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Limited roadside parking at the trailhead on South Road in Lempster. The last half mile of this road is rougher and narrower, but passable by any vehicle. Watch for a couple of protruding rocks. |

| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail |

| Recommended Equipment: |
|
|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
None. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trail is slightly brushy right at the start, and very brushy (you have to push through one spot) just before the summit. One blowdown about halfway up which is an easy walkunder. I didn't have a saw with me today. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
Sure. |
|
| Bugs: |
Just a few. |
|
| Lost and Found: |
Nothing. |

| Comments: |
A quick afternoon hike hoping to beat the storms. The trail was dry, even though I got hit by a heavy downpour driving through Washington. Hazy views from the open, ledgy summit. Humidity was ridiculous. Lots of heavy thunderstorm activity well to the south, with loud thunder and visible lightning. Neat to see from a distance. |
