Bugs: **Bee Nest on trail. USFS has official red lettered caution sign stating there is an active ground nest of bees (who knows if they mean yellow jackets) just below the first ledges on the Dickey side.**

Comments: I turned this into an out and back hike of Welch Dickey going up the Welch side and back down that way due to the nest. Did not want to take my chances. If allergic, not sure, or hellbent on hiking with unleashed dogs, it might be best to avoid the Dickey side for now. Didn't get any on the ground intel from anyone who went on that side though.
